Bronchial Asthma

'Bronchial asthma' is an allergic condition characterised by attacks of suffocation / choking which repeat itself, due to spasms of bronchi and swelling of the mucous membrane tissues.

Usually due to high sensitivity of the bronchial tissues to various harmful substances- allergens. But asthmatic attacks can happen even without allergens, due to weather changes, cooling, emotional upsets etc.

During acute attacks of asthma it is recommended to place the sufferer in a comfortable-sitting position, prepare warm-ish water for his legs and hands to place in; rub his / her chest with a soft cloth soaked in vinegar, massage the upper part of the body too.
